Andrew Latham

I gained my first coaching award, the Football Association Preliminary Award in 1991. In 1993, I started working as a youth coach in New Orleans and became Director of Coaching for the New Orleans Soccer Academy (NOSA) in 1994.

I gained the US Soccer B license in 1994 and the A license the following year. In 1996, I served as a staff coach for the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA) Region 3 Olympic Development program. I was also a coaching instructor for the USYSA and National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

In 1998, I left NOSA to return to England where I worked for the Centre of Excellence and later for the Sheffield United Academy program (Sheffield United was in the Championship at the time). I was responsible for working with the U9 and U11 teams and introduced Futsal into the Academy program. In 1998, I gained the Union of European Football Association’s (UEFA) B license and in 2001 I attended part one of he UEFA B license with the Welsh Football Association.

In 2001, I became head coach for the Okanagan Regional Training Centre and gained the CSA 'A' license in 2004. I serve as a coaching instructor for BCSA and currently sit on the BCSA technical committee. I have also served as a Regional Director for Pacific Sport Okanagan since 2005.
