KUFC Skills Academy Development Program

Year round development for U8 to U12

Kelowna United is proud to introduce our new Skills Academy Development Program. This program provides a challenging, enjoyable environment for U8 - U12 players to develop the fundamental skills required to succeed at whatever level of the game they aspire to reach.

The goals of the Skills Academy are to:

• ensure the best possible training environment for young players
• keep more players involved in the game for longer by providing an enjoyable experience
• produce more skilled players by increasing the opportunity and access to better training and competition

Rather than basing acceptance through "tryouts", Skill Centres take a holistic, player-centred approach to registration. 50% of the spots will be offered to players who have been identified through club programming and 50% will be available via open registration, allowing access to all youth who are keen to learn the game.
